Brian C. Davidson, MBA, AVA

is a principal with Covenant Consulting Group LLC where he leads valuation, expert services and performance improvement engagements.  He has conducted valuations in a variety of industries including research, construction, transportation and manufacturing.  Davidson's experience also includes forensic accounting, performance involvement consulting, and various other financial advisory engagements.

Davidson led a team of consultants in a large-scale forensic accounting investigation of a publicly traded lending institution.  This included issuing the client's 8-K to the SEC, developing and documenting investigative methodology, and working closely with the CFO and President to assess losses.

Davidson enjoys working with clients who have real-world problems needing to be solved.  His outside-the-box thinking and his commitment to problem solving making him an invaluable resource for his clients.  He chose Covenant Consulting Group as his home because he wanted to surround himself with people who challenge his ways of thinking and push him to become better.  He loves the team approach of Covenant Consulting Group and the unique way the group bands together to provide each client with the best ideas from all areas of the firm.

Prior to joining Covenant Consulting Group, Davidson worked for Tidwell DeWitt under Bryan Finison and Ray Dyer in their respective areas of operation including turnaround and restructuring, valuation and strategic consulting, as well as tax and transaction planning.

Davidson has presented publicly on topics from SAS 70 audits and their significance in the accounting industry to business continuity planning in the context of valuing a business.  He was also a senior commercial credit analyst in Atlanta for a large bank, where he specialized in real estate.

Davidson holds a bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University and a master's of business administration with a dual concentration in corporate finance and investments from Texas Christian University.

When he is not solving critical business issues for his clients, you will most likely find Davidson in a bookstore or a coffee shop reading the latest business strategy hardback.
