Jennifer M. Usrey, CPA, MTA

has almost a decade of experience managing tax and estate planning issues for wealthy families and executives. She has a practical understanding on the various levels of tax and estate planning engagements and knows in detail many of the concerns families face associated with planning.

Usrey joined Covenant Consulting Group because she was drawn to the family friendly environment and the absolute focus on exceptional client service. Her goal is to always anticipate and exceed the needs of her clients and she sees Covenant Consulting Group as a place to achieve that goal. She prides herself on the development of working relationships with clients built on trust and respect. To date, her most rewarding project with Covenant Consulting Group was working on succession planning and estate compliance with a multi-generational family business. She continues to work closely with the second generation to ensure the family’s goals and needs are being met.

Usrey has a Master's of Taxation from the University of Mississippi and was recognized at the top of her class. She is also affiliated with several organizations in the accounting industry that allow her to further her commitment to serving clients.

When she is not working for her clients at Covenant Consulting Group, Usrey serves as the Treasurer of the Thrift Shop for the Junior League of Tuscaloosa and as the Social Chairman of her Homeowner’s Association.
